IShowSpeed has officially crossed the 41 million subscriber mark on YouTube, moments after winning two 40 meter sprint races against fellow creator Daniel Labelle.
The two met on June 23, 2025 at a local high school track, drawing excitement from fans of both creators who are known for incorporating running into their content.
Daniel Labelle, with over 35 million subscribers, has built a following through creative and comedic running videos. Earlier this year, on March 11, he publicly challenged IShowSpeed to a race. While Speed initially stayed silent, he accepted the challenge in early June, and they scheduled the showdown two weeks later.
Fans weren’t sure what to expect, as both are athletic and frequently include fast-paced action in their videos. But when the time came, Speed pulled ahead by several feet to take the win. Seconds after the race, he celebrated both his victory and a subscriber milestone. “And we hit 41 million subs… Let’s go!” he announced.
They raced again just minutes later, and Speed won the rematch as well, reinforcing his dominance on the track.
This event follows closely on the heels of Speed’s recent wins against lifestyle influencer Ashton Hall, whom he beat in four consecutive races.
